If you think you're getting a deal.

I don't usually return things unless they're really bad, and even then I make sure it works most of the time. (In the photos, the board with a cross is the board with the brand name, the circle is maxdot 5mm boards). So you're probably here thinking you'll get a better price if you buy these instead of the brand name Perler boards. Yes. That's what I thought. I'm all for scammers but in this case you get what you pay for. 1) I've found that boards are much thinner than fuse beads which means they melt quicker. It didn't bother me as I don't iron on the board, but use the tape trick. But if not, stay away. 2) Detents are significantly smaller than fuse beads, causing many problems with board shifting, boards misaligning at the seam, and general wobbling. I'm about to make a project with 30 boards and I definitely don't want to risk a mess if they fall apart when I turn them over. 3) Third, over half of the 30 I just ordered have broken pins on the boards. Mostly on the corners and that's a huge problem! 4) It's just personal preference, but the pin height is also almost double that of the fuse beads and that makes it difficult to place the beads. Again, this extra time adds up on a very large project. If you are a regular Perler, who only wants to use one board at a time and only want to use each board once, be sure to do so. But if you're serious, just name the brand. it causes many problems with board shifting, improper bead seating at the joint, and general discontinuity.
