I was about to purchase bar stools from an expensive furniture store, but then decided I didn't want to spend that much on bar stools, which would have very limited use. They are more suited to decorating an area in my family room that is used from time to time when we have really large gatherings. I found these stools on Amazon and loved the look and style of them. One had a slight wobble that went away as soon as I placed the stool on the carpet. The color is a beautiful brown and the black metal stool complements the brown perfectly. The seat is comfortable, but it would be more comfortable if the back of the chair was higher. I definitely don't want to sit in the gym for hours with limited back support. But I knew what style I was buying so I can't fault it. I can't say anything about long term use since I just bought them but I can say they arrived in perfect condition and assembly is very easy. The seat only has to be screwed to the frame with the supplied screws. Pictures posted for illustration.
