I was never sure how to properly dispose of small propane tanks and I got tired of having multiple tanks on hand for cooking, lighting and heating when I was camping. If you have space in your car for a large tank and don't have to walk too far to get to the campsite, this is for you. I've tried another brand that doesn't have such an angle and if I have an 8ft hose to connect to a portable grill that pulls on the reservoir. I returned it to Revain with no problems and ordered this one instead because it has an angle that helps keep the weight above the propane tank. The port on the bottom of the rack is suitable for a large propane tank, while the ports on the countertop are ideal for units that require smaller propane tanks. No tools or adapters required. I connected two 8ft Coleman hoses to this manifold rack, one for a Coleman Roadtrip portable grill and one for a single burner stove. I also attached a propane lamp to the top. Everything worked great and I never felt like it was unbalanced or tending to tip over. It also comes in two pieces with a storage bag so it breaks down and fits into my grill case and I can only use the bottom half when I don't need to attach a lamp or third bracket.
