Review on Rubbermaid Commercial Products WaveBrake 2 by Kirt Phillips

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There is such a thing as "too well built ". it is an article!

One of the best, if not the best purchase I have ever made from Revain! I bought this item together with UNISAN UNS 603 mop handle and Rubbermaid mop head (FG23800BL00). I worked as a cleaner for four years, so using those cheap, lightweight mops just didn't work. I used to use metal pails and press tools, so I was hesitant to buy a "plastic mop bucket". Boy was I wrong. This bucket is made of 1/2 thick hard plastic. As you get closer to the mop wringer it gets even thicker to accommodate the extra weight and function of the wringer so it's very well made. The wheels are not rigid wheels. These are soft "plastic" shock absorbing wheels. So if you roll the bucket from one surface to another, it will easily go over a 1/4 to 1/2 inch edge. It won't stick or tear along the edge on transitional floor surfaces. The wipe press is strong. I hesitate to put all my weight on it. Once the plastic on these things tears, it's over. So when I use a pressed mop I don't apply much pressure but just enough to get the job done. I just take the mop, rearrange it and press again, so it's not that big of a problem. So I was careful and not reckless. Finally ease of use. When I roll this pup on my hard floors, when I stop or bump into something for any reason, the water doesn't splash. This wave function does its job as advertised! It can easily hold around 4-6+ gallons of water. When emptying the tank, residual dirt and "debris" roll out (neither sticky nor slippery surfaces allow this). It doesn't show in the photos either, but where the back of the bucket is, you can tip it to dump out the dirty water. It's a lip you can fold your hand under so you can tip it straight into a sink or disposal area. Look, you can play around with these cheap, basic wringer mops and end up paying more than buying this disposable item. With this press, you'll never have to touch dirty water again. Oh, did I mention the mop head is washable? I keep the unit in the garage and bring it inside for big jobs. These quick spills or small leaks happen when I use a food mop. So if your home has hard floors like mine, it saves time, is easy on your back and overall GREAT. And NO, I don't work for Rubbermaid, I only know a good product when I see it and use it. You will not regret buying this product! - Joseph
