I love these coasters. They are simple but look expensive. I turn them over and use them as a base to make my own coasters. I paint the tops of the buttons with glass/ceramic paint. After baking the tops of the buttons, I use carpet tape to attach the tops of the 3.5 inch buttons to the rounded bottom. Then I line the gutter with small glass tiles and glue them in place. After grouting the tiles, I add four small plastic tabs (which will serve as legs) on the opposite side. The finished product costs about $5 a piece to make, but it costs about $20 a piece.
