I was very excited to try this but for some reason I completely forgot to check the ingredient list before purchasing. I was disappointed to learn that it contains a preservative/paraben: methylparaben. For health reasons, we (especially women) are better off avoiding parabens as much as possible, as many of them mimic estrogen and can potentially disrupt your hormones (see the EWG Cosmetics database for more information). My personal choice is to avoid cosmetics with parabens, especially since most of them are absorbed through the skin and enter your body. Unfortunately I won't use that. I'm sure it works amazingly, but I make a conscious choice to prioritize health over beauty.
