Ok the system setup was easy at first and viewing the cameras on my phone was just as easy. I've had some trouble getting a link to the desktop software and figuring out how to view recorded events and had a couple of cameras that I had to replace, but. After taking some time to get used to the menus and working with SMONET customer service to swap out my cameras, I really like this system. I have upgraded from a 600TVL system and am able to use some of the old cameras on my new system. (There is still the old image quality that the old cameras provide) I am considering making a YouTube video to show some tips on how to use this software more easily. I haven't seen one for this type of wired system yet. After looking at a newer camera system (4K) I bought it for the cost and I'm glad I did. SOMNET support sent me new replacement cameras. I'll tell you later how it goes. But I have to say that the customer support (once you get the right information) is very good. They can assist you after 6:30pm PT, I live on the East Coast so it is after 9:30pm. So be aware of that. Emails will be answered the next day. I recommend this system. The cost was very affordable and if you can run cables in the attic and install cameras at home the day before, this system is for you! UPDATE 5/26/2020 I received my replacement cameras and they are working great! Derek from their support team will take care of you.
