Review on πŸ’₯ High Performance Sabrent 500GB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD with Heatsink (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-HTSK-500) by Jake Larson

Died after a month, no guarantee.

I've had this drive for about a month, at first the NVME 4.0 read speed was a bit slow, my 3.0 WD Black was faster but I got by with it as there wasn't much of a difference in load time. then it happened this morning, the reset system woke up with an error "there is no system disk". The drive died completely just days after the 30-day return period. (Numbers) After waiting a week for an RMA response, I received an email saying I was not entitled to a replacement. although I've had it a little over a month. and I MUST have a 3 year warranty. So I ended up screwing up almost $200. Avoid the Sabrent at all costs.

Pros
  • Preinstalled Rocket NVMe heatsink. All Sabrent SSDs come with FREE Sabrent Acronis True Image for Sabrent software for easy cloning. For those who need a specific sector size for cloning existing SSDs, the recently released Sabrent utility allows users to reformat a Rocket drive and select the sector size of their choice: 512 bytes or 4KB.
