Died after a month, no guarantee.

I've had this drive for about a month, at first the NVME 4.0 read speed was a bit slow, my 3.0 WD Black was faster but I got by with it as there wasn't much of a difference in load time. then it happened this morning, the reset system woke up with an error "there is no system disk". The drive died completely just days after the 30-day return period. (Numbers) After waiting a week for an RMA response, I received an email saying I was not entitled to a replacement. although I've had it a littleโ€ฆ

Proprietary USB cable? No thank you!

While it's not the fastest TB3 NVMe case out there, I loved it because it felt sleek and practical. A case made from a single piece of metal that can be used without additional tools? Sign me up! But. The USB connector is countersunk and has two notches that prevent us from using a standard TB3 cable. Just take a closer look at the photos. It also doesn't look like they sell replacement cables that are compatible with it. What happens if I lose the cable or it breaks? Buy a new suitcase? Modify

It's fast, running at PCIe gen speeds in my x570 master.

This applies to Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4. without cooler. It's actually a very good device and at the time of my purchase it was $50-$60 cheaper than the Gen4 Aorus or Corsair SSD versions - they also use the same Phison PS5016-E16 SSD controller, Toshiba 96 layer TLC BiCS4 (three-level cell) NAND. Sabrent also offers a 5-year warranty (you need to register it). I have the heatsinkless version because I'm using a board with an NVMe socket heatsink. The drive delivers the speedsโ€ฆ

First PCIE 4.0 I found for sale. Maximum available speed. I love it!

This Sabrent Nvme was installed on a new X570 Aorus Master motherboard. Pictured above (under the cover with the red arrow on it), it works great in the first M.2 slot, which connects directly to the new Ryzen 3000 CPU, and works great with the new Navi 5700XT underneath. That works great. It was immediately recognized in the BIOS and I had no problems installing Windows 10 Pro on it. As one of the first PCIE 4.0 Nvme drives released in July 2019, it offers the fastest performance of any drive.
