Review on 💥 High Performance Sabrent 500GB Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 Internal SSD with Heatsink (SB-ROCKET-NVMe4-HTSK-500) by Juan Mcallen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's fast, running at PCIe gen speeds in my x570 master.

This applies to Sabrent 1TB Rocket NVMe 4.0 Gen4. without cooler. It's actually a very good device and at the time of my purchase it was $50-$60 cheaper than the Gen4 Aorus or Corsair SSD versions - they also use the same Phison PS5016-E16 SSD controller, Toshiba 96 layer TLC BiCS4 (three-level cell) NAND. Sabrent also offers a 5-year warranty (you need to register it). I have the heatsinkless version because I'm using a board with an NVMe socket heatsink. The drive delivers the speeds advertised on the box for both Gen4 and Gen3. So if you grab this device and don't have a motherboard with an x570 chipset (the only chipset that currently supports PCIe gen4), you can still use it on a Gen3 board and it'll offer slightly better performance in the Compared to the current Gen3 drive. At least that was my experience. The packaging was nice, filled with foam, well protected and chic - not what I expected. I'll be getting at least one more soon, probably 2TB. And it comes from a Samsung NVMe fanatic.
