I don't know enough about whitening toothpaste to say it's fancy about whitening, it works. The texture of the toothpaste stripe is a 50/50 mix of jelly and fine paste, both the target stripe and the white stripe. I really like how well it works and how gentle it is on my teeth and gums. My teeth are cleaner. I've been using Crest for a long time and feel confident using Crest + Scope on a daily basis with both a regular manual toothbrush and an Oral-B E toothbrush.👍
