Review on Innocn 27-inch DisplayPort Computer Monitor: 1920X1080P, 165Hz, Flicker-Free, Anti-Glare Coating, Blue Light Filter - Mountable by Alberto Pagan

Great discount monitor with the worst menu system in the world!

This is a really good monitor at a very low price. I have no dead pixels. The die-cast aluminum stand isn't height-adjustable, but it's sturdy and looks sleek. In addition to a couple of HDMI inputs, the monitor also has a DisplayPort input that I use. The colors are good and the picture is clear. The controls for adjusting the display are very complete. Nonsense: 1. It has a pair of triangular lenses with red LEDs in the lower left and right corners of the frame. They can be turned off (which normal people would do), turned on, or set to blink continuously (aka "flicker"). 2. He can put the crosshair in the center of the screen. You can choose the color. Every FPS game I play already has a crosshair for aiming. For whom is that? Really annoying menu system! The menu system is controlled via a button on the back. Pressing the In button toggles the display on and off. It also behaves like a joystick and responds to movements up, down, left and right. But that's where the madness comes in: pressing a button in a menu isn't a selection/enter. It turns off the display, but its use as a select/enter is reflexive. The worst part is how insanely random the directions are. To move left or right on the top level of the main menu, press the up or down button. To go to the submenu, press right. When in a submenu, press up and down to move up and down. There's more, but my head will explode if I keep thinking about it. I'll never remember it, especially since I have four other monitors in the same room. Complaint aside, considering the price, this is a true five star monitor.
