Cheap shoes. You get what you pay for

For the price, these are regular shoes. I definitely have some issues with them and of course they won't last as long as brand name shoes but overall they're pretty comfortable shoes that also manage to be attractive. They also came in the right size, which is not always the case with shoes from China. Like many inexpensive shoes, they use an EVA sole. This makes the shoe flexible and light, but less durable than traditional rubber. My daughter has been wearing them for a few days and says they are comfortable to walk in. In terms of construction, the upper of this shoe is made from a fabric that is not waterproof at all. The inside of the shoe is lightly padded with a soft insole. They have artificial fixed elastic laces and Velcro to tighten the shoes. The velcro has a very cheap vinyl on top with slightly rough edges that will no doubt peel off in a fairly short time. Due to the strap, they look a little cheap if you look closely. As mentioned, they generally look good. The construction feels solid, with quality stitching and smart construction. The soles appear to be well attached to the upper, so I don't think they will break in use, a problem sometimes seen with unbranded Chinese shoes. The point is, you get what you pay for. and these are cheap shoes. I don't expect them to last more than half a year, although considering these are children's shoes, they probably don't need to last much longer into adulthood. The time will show.
