Review on Efficient R-1234yf Hose to Vacuum Pump Adapter for Quick and Easy Connection (R1234YF) by Kevin Parker

Incorrect Item Description: These fittings are advertised as 1/2" ACME LH female x 1/4" SAE female. That is not right. The fittings I received are 1/2" ACME left-hand male and 1/2" ACME right-hand female. They are manufactured by FJC under part number 6829. These fittings are designed to accept a 1/2" acme fitting with a right hand R134a thread (e.g. on some vacuum pumps) and connect to a 1/2" acme fitting with a left hand thread R1234yf thread. a fitting with an internal thread, usually a hose with a manometer. They will not work with the standard SAE 1/4" male thread used in many vacuum pumps (like mine). These fittings are great when trying to convert an R134a vacuum pump to R1234yf. They are NOT suitable for converting vacuum pumps R12, R22, R410 etc. to R1234yf.HTH.
