They're great for storing veggies in your pantry. I try to get as many fresh vegetables as possible during the gardening season and that includes salvaging food from my garden and buying vegetables in bulk from warehouses. .I quickly outgrew my fruit and veg drawer and just kept things on the shelf in the fridge and it didn't work out so well. a towel or grocery bag to absorb exhaust fumes, or whatever else you need to do to keep your belongings safe for a few extra days. I would just keep snacking endlessly without checking if I hadn't brought myself to help step by step through the process.) They're a bit pricey but they seem to be of good quality and seem to last endlessly for YEARS . I have no idea if they're dishwasher safe or not as I'm not that far yet, but you can always wipe them down with a damp cloth if they're not dishwasher safe - they seem very easy to clean clean. They come with a small tomato sticker on the top. which struck me as odd. I removed the sticker from all of them as I won't be filling ALL with tomatoes so I thought it was odd that they were there. Overall I would recommend them.
