This is a great keyboard. I've had a lot of mechanical keyboards, mostly with Cherry MX Brown switches, and needed something quieter as I spent a large portion of my day on conference calls. Received this HyperX RGB Alloy Core Keyboard in Prime Day 2019 sale and I am very happy with it. PROS: - Sturdy construction - won't budge on your desk, only flexes if you strain unnaturally in the middle - Easy-to-read keycaps - Easy-to-read, no "gamer" font - LED backlight - Bright and can be customized become five zones, the guarantee is a real deal breaker for me with some unknown Chinese brands on Revain. Two year warranty from a company with a customer service department to contact - Tactile - I would compare the tactility of this membrane keyboard to Cherry Brown switches. They're better than the fake cherry brown switches I've had on untitled Chinese keyboards. -Quiet - This keyboard is very quiet. No keycap vibration noise, no noise when pressing a key, no noise when returning - No Software - You don't need and can't control the settings of this keyboard with software. You just use the function keys to set the overall backlight and Windows key lock (e.g. game mode) - Braided cable - not really important, but a nice touch that doesn't feel cheap - Media keys are a great feature in the Not included compared to other keyboards in this price range CONS: - The material of the cap is ABS, not PBT - collects oil when typing but is easy to clean with an occasional wipe. To be expected in this price range. - Caps Lock, Num Lock, Game Lock indicators are hard to see - it would be better to have a glowing icon rather than a white LED with hard to read embossed text.
