Switching from cotton towels to linen has changed my everyday life for the better. I haven't tried many other linen towels but I have no problem with this one. The label says "Made in Canada" so I'm not sure what the other reviewer had in mind when they claimed they were made in China. I usually have to wash and dry the equivalent cotton equivalent on a weekly basis to keep it water absorbent. But the same towel quickly dried my hands after an effective wash. They now appear to be damp on drying after subsequent washing/drying, but I suspect this is because linen material is slightly thinner than cotton and therefore water stays "on" the material rather than being absorbed into the material as with cotton to become. Despite this wet feeling, your hands will be perfectly dry within seconds of contact with this linen towel. Next day, next week, maybe next month, the towel will be hanging dry like the New Mexico heatwave, while the cotton towel will be wet by the end of the week. They seem to be a little softer to the touch now, but I don't expect linen to be much softer since it's derived from flaxseed, from what I've read. I definitely don't want my linen to look like cotton. Deviates from character. Thank you to the seller for offering such a quality product at a reasonable price.
