Review on πŸ”¨ Pneumatic Upholstery Stapler: 3PLUS H7116LSP KT - Fast and Precise Stapling for Upholstery Projects by William Dean

Revainrating 4 out of 5

If your handyman has tools like a belt sander or file, you can make this work.

Safety sucks. As others have said, it turns on by itself. Wear safety goggles as this device can operate without contacting the surface. An amazing amount in a $49 package. SS staples would be nice. Maybe the gun model HT5014SP says 20 gauge? Staples are 9mm wide and close to 0.030 x 0.022 cross-section. I had an issue where the tongue would not retract far enough to hook the next brace. During disassembly, I decided to fix a more serious problem: the tongue removes 99% of the shots. My big problem was that tongue completely cut through my Artic vinyl that I was covering the ATV seat with. Working pressure says 60-100 psi. The manual says to release the pressure to set the depth. Even at pressures below 60psi it still cut 100% of my fabric. As you go deeper, the tongue doesn't have enough recoil to retract. At least that's what M Engineers thinks. My solution was to remove the front and use a belt sander to trim the tongue a good 3/32 of an inch. I increased the pressure back to 60psi. Oak or harder wood My ATV's seat frame was plastic.
