Bought as a gift for 13 year old daughter. She wanted it because she saw a YouTube user using it. She decided to cut her hair pretty short right before she received it as a gift, so she hasn't used it yet. My oldest daughter asked me to try it on her. She has VERY thick long hair. You can only place a very small section of hair at a time to curl it. The whole head took a lot of time, but turned out very beautiful! she liked it! He used about half the battery (from a fully charged one) to complete her entire head. After doing a few curls I got the hang of it and it was pretty easy to use.
