The very large number of very thin copper strands and the flexibility of the polymer used in the insulation make this speaker cable a pleasant finish as well as excellent electrical properties for connecting speakers. The insulation is easy to strip and the thin strands are easily processed by threading onto self-crimping banana plugs. In addition, due to the extreme flexibility, the wire lies flat on the ground without retaining any curvature from being wound on a spool; Marvelous. In general, working with this wire is a pleasure. All of this plus the benefits of 12 gauge, fine strand, 99.9% oxygen free copper to connect my speakers. Another thing was that since I only needed 20ft I could buy a 30ft roll without paying and then store 80ft more than I needed. The speakers also sound great.
