Review on Secure and Spacious: Discover the Carlson Maxi Pet Gate for Ultimate Pet Safety and Freedom by Amy Mcleod

Dogs are mostly protected from cats.

My partner, I and our kitten Shredder just moved to a new home and inherited two older dogs that live here. Schröder isn't a fan. When he was young, he fought a pit bull and a boxer and won. Now he is on the verge of old age and has no teeth due to health reasons, so he has gone soft. Of course, with these two dogs, all he has to do is hit Abu a few times and they'll avoid him. Anyway, we bought this gate so he could keep the master bedroom and my home office without the risk of dog infestation. That way he could explore the house slowly and on his own terms and get a sense of how restless these dogs would be. The cat door is the perfect size, big enough for him and small enough to keep two old medium sized dogs out of the VIP areas. Remember these dogs don't touch the gate; They didn't even lean on it, so I can't speak to its durability unless the alien beast really wants to test it. Also, I'm fat, and as long as I walk sideways I feel great. I say that because I've tried squeezing my big ass through other similar gates and it wasn't pretty. And from where I was sitting it looked pretty easy to put together. Just follow the instructions. These gates are ideal for our purposes. I really like it and Shredder seems to approve too.
