About as useful as Can!ne Ur!ne.

I fitted this product to my bike on one side of the gas tank and used the current ceramic (from Chemical Guys) on the other side. Permissible curing time 48 hours. Although this is not required. Before applying any product, I filled the entire tank with clay and removed wax or protection to get a fair comparison. Well, the bottom line is when I poured clean, filtered water into the tank. The Nexgen side repelled water well but left water stains. The other left nothing on the tank, it was like it had been dried with microfiber. So I thought it looked a little weird. So I reapplied Nexgen and wiped with new microfiber. Then he repeated the exact same test - same result. Now, out of genuine interest, I've decided to re-leam the tank and apply both products to opposite sides, thinking that maybe the way the bike sits had something to do with it. Well, exactly the same result - Nexgen failed miserably. Again, it was 100% water repellent but left water stains, defeating the purpose of ceramic. Fast forward: I tried on my SUV door with a piece of tape down the center for side-to-side comparison. Nexgen is a failure. Here's how to spend your hard-earned cash. The smell is pleasant, but that's about it. Chemical Guys cost about the same, but a true WORKSA ceramic coating (like Malco Ceramic is about $110) outperforms these quick fixes. But these quick items are great for upkeep and maintenance. They are also MUCH easier to use.
