Review on 💆 Enhanced Cricket Technique XX-Large Round Barrel Hair Brush, 2 Inch by Marci Estrada

I have read reviews on here about people buying fake cricket brushes but I never thought I would be one of those people but I was! I received my 2 inch brush and it looked great. Hours later, I remembered looking at the handle when I saw pictures of real and fake brush handles here, and indeed my handle was labeled "antibacterial" and not antimicrobial as advertised. . The grip also said Centrix instead of Cricket. I asked a Cricket/Technique rep if my brush was genuine and she said the handle should say "antimicrobial" and she doesn't think my brush is genuine. Problem solved quickly and to my delight, but ordering something and receiving a fake is very frustrating. I've attached photos so you can see what my grip was saying. If yours says the same thing, it's not a real cricket brush. According to a Cricket rep I spoke to, buyers should beware! UPDATE: May 14, 2016: I received an email from someone saying this brush is genuine, just old stock. He also commented twice above so you can read his comments. I am assuming what the cricket rep told me personally. I suggest you contact Cricket if you buy a brush like mine to make sure it's just old branding and not fake. I really don't know what to think but I'm updating to say that at this point I'm not sure if I received an old brush with old markings or a fake one. Obviously the person who emailed me firmly believes that I am misleading people about the authenticity of the brush. I would not do it. I went and I went according to what the representative personally told me. I think you need to do some digging and ask questions when you get a brush like mine. I got my money back and right now I don't feel like ordering another one.
