Size XL fits my 4'8" son perfectly, falls just below his wrists. We bought it for a trip and haven't tested it in the rain yet. I have one though Test done with water using a cup and it appears to be waterproof Nice material that doesn't get too hot - doesn't feel like plastic Multiple buttons under the chin to keep the neck water out I'll get a second one for mine Bought another son.I would have liked a large sewn on pocket so we didn't have to keep up with a storage bag.
