I bought one of these belts and will invest in others of the same but different colors. This belt solved the problem of a belt that was too loose or too tight. The permanent flexibility of the fabric is aesthetically pleasing and well finished. The old leather belts with pre-punched holes never seemed right to me. Too tight or too loose was a problem for me. Yes I have tried braided leather straps that clip anywhere on the belt and yes I was able to attach them but after a few hours of wearing they were just plain uncomfortable. I have found that after a few days of use they leave painful tingling and marks. I can't say I'm wearing this belt. It keeps the jeans in place without having to pull them on from time to time. This is the main purpose of the belt. Serves its purpose and looks good. I have recommended this belt to family and friends and would recommend it to anyone tired of uncomfortable belts.
