DIY project

Looks like a reasonable compromise between a small ladies watch and a clear legible display. Easily switch between 12 and 24 hours. Display, which may be beneficial for some but otherwise requires remembering which key is being toggled, as it's easy to accidentally press a key. The instruction manual is unnecessarily small; It takes two hands to hold it open and a third hand to hold the magnifying glass (even at 20-20 angles). It might be easier to google the instruction manual (Casio module #3284) which is also in very small print but you can use your zoom settings for that. The biggest problem with the group. There are no instructions on how to set it up. However, you can find many YouTube videos showing how to do it. It should be noted that part of the fastener can be lifted to release the cam lock, after which the fastener can be easily moved to the desired position. Nobody I've seen mentioned having to remove the nearly invisible tape protecting the strap's gold rim; Otherwise the cam cannot be lowered and locked. A more difficult problem arises when the watch must be fitted to a small wrist since the additional strap is not hidden under the strap. I couldn't find anything about this issue on the Casio homepage or elsewhere, but eventually I realized that the extra links were a pain to remove. Essentially, you need to use a sharp awl or small, possibly disposable, jeweler's screwdriver and pry open two tabs on the underside of one of the bars that make up the watch strap. The tabs to be folded are aimed at the finished end of the excess ribbon. You'll notice that each bar of the strip has two bars at the bottom, so the tabs come out of one bar and partially wrap around the adjacent bar. It takes a lot of strength to bend the steel tabs, so work on a protected surface and watch your fingers. Remove the extra bars, then use a small pair of pliers to press the tabs into place. In this final step, protect the gold trim with a small amount of tape. Jewelers probably have special pliers that could bend faucets into better shape, but the method outlined here seems to work.
