This bright, flexible bulb, under $20, was purchased to light up the shaded part of my carpentry shop. It lets you look at tools and small print boxes. I used a corded mechanical flashlight with a standard bulb. The lighting was still focused and didn't provide enough brightness or coverage for that part of the room. So I searched Amazon for a brighter, wider light to replace that single LED bulb on the low ceiling rafters. This deformable interior light meets my expectations and can cross the threshold of maybe too bright, which is not a disadvantage of light but an advantage! Not sure if this light can be dimmed and have not tried a dimmer. The lamp consists of four panels and has a central round light source that covers the corners and eliminates all shadows.
