After dropping the phone on a bumpy road, I felt the need to purchase a durable screen protector. My friend dropped her phone (same model) on the same street and the only damage to her phone was the screen protector. Mine was badly damaged. I was looking for tempered glass screen protectors and settled on this one. It is very similar to a second skin. This poses a small touch sensitivity issue, but you can't effectively protect your screen without sacrificing a bit of touch sensitivity. I mostly notice it near the edges of the screen protector. It's not annoying, it just takes getting used to. There is no distortion or "rainbow" effect. I feel much more comfortable with this screen protector on my spare phone. If I drop it again I'm sure this protector will do the job it was designed to do. I'll leave the drop testing to the pros at TechMatte though! Update: My phone fell out of my pocket onto the sidewalk. The protective film has done its job! There are cracks but the phone is in perfect condition. I am more than happy!
