Review on Humidifier Smartmi Evaporative Humidifier/Zhimi Air Humidifier 2 (CJXJSQ02ZM) EU, white by Franciszka Czerwiska ᠌

A conventional humidifier is noisy and not very efficient. Noise: 1 speed - quiet and weakly effective, but with some high-frequency ripples, apparently from PWM. You may not notice it at all if the room is not very quiet, but in the contrast of on / off, the importunity of this noise is noticeable and in general it interferes. 2 speed - not very loud, more or less effective. But again, with a bunch of different annoying overtones already from the motor / gearbox. You can use it while in the room, but it’s better not for a long time and for this “not long” it will not quickly moisturize. 3 speed is loud and blows quite powerfully, but according to a separate hygrometer, the humidity does not grow quickly, the efficiency / noise ratio is low. There is no desire to be in the room at 3 speeds. Moisturizes by 5-15%, and I'm not sure if more is needed. In winter, without a humidifier, the humidity is 22-25%, at 35-40% there is a slight feeling of a steam room and stuffy. Naturally, when airing, the humidity quickly decreases to 25%. Talk about easy breathing with a humidifier is nonsense. Its periodic use will remove / reduce the feeling of dry air, but it is impossible to say that the microclimate has become wonderful with it. A couple of months ago I was going to put a breather / inflow, but in the end I did not. So, with a breather, its efficiency might be enough with difficulty, but at 2-3 speeds of constant operation, at which it is not very comfortable to use it. Considering the price and simplicity of such devices, one would expect better electrical and mechanical parts, without a bunch of different "cheap" overtones. By the way, air conditioners are two heads higher in terms of efficiency / noise ratio. I don't regret the purchase, but I wouldn't take it again. Humidifiers as a type of device are generally disappointing.
