sponge is not bad. You definitely get what you pay for. The sponge has too much soap in the middle and is difficult to wash off. Also, it breaks very easily. Washing a car is hard work and after 1.5 washes this thing is missing a few parts. I can get 2 or 3 more uses out of it. Not bad I think for $4. If you're looking for a cheap sponge and only need it multiple times for light or heavier jobs, then this sponge is for you: 5" x 2.8" x 8.3" fits right in the size of the sponge . Ultimately does its job. Cons: * Holds a lot of soap in the center, difficult to rinse thoroughly (-1/4 stars) * Tears very easily even with a medium load (-3/4 stars) Additional considerations: You should be careful about what dirt there is collects on this sponge. Also remember that this is not a microfiber product. If you need microfiber or no stripes, you can look at other products.
