My daughter has an older toy breed. Despite professional teeth cleaning etc. she lost most of her teeth. She also has mild congestive heart failure. It is important to feed dogs with CHF a low-sodium diet. Prescription diets exist, but most dogs find them unappetizing, including this dog. She simply refuses to eat this garbage. After doing some research, we found that this brand is among the low-sodium products available on the shelf. We have to trim her a bit because of her teeth, but she loves this food! Always look forward to the meal. It looks very appetizing to our human eyes and doesn't stink. I'm not saying it's super premium food. But this is one of the best available at most stores/off the shelf.
