This version is compared to my original scrap. This one is of much cheaper quality and flawed design. Why change a working design? The channels where the iPad sits while standing are now so shallow that the iPad falls to the floor, which never happened with the deeper channels in my old case. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it.
