This version is compared to my original scrap. This one is of much cheaper quality and flawed design. Why change a working design? The channels where the iPad sits while standing are now so shallow that the iPad falls to the floor, which never happened with the deeper channels in my old case. I would not buy it again nor would I recommend it.

You CANNOT charge your Apple Pencil while the case is attached and it will NOT sleep or wake up when the case is opened/closed. These features have become standard and commonplace in the enclosure industry. So when they're missing it should be obvious in the descriptions, and frankly it's ridiculous that a company like Targus would even sell anything without them.
