AMAZING BUT A SMALL FAILURE

I bought this because it's really hard to find a good quality cassette player with a headphone jack. It's one of the best I've bought, but there are a few finicky things to consider. First, the cassette door is a single piece of black plastic, which means you can't see the tape moving when rewinding or fast-forwarding, so you have to guess how far the tape has moved. Second, vintage boom box cassettes are loaded "upside down," meaning you insert the top of the tape down and the tape edge up. This is normal, except it means the tape is moving in the opposite direction than you might be used to, ie the left << button is actually fast forward and the right >> button is rewind. The buttons aren't labeled, so you have to keep reminding yourself that the symbols on this player are reversed because the tape is upside down. Apart from that he is a great player. The rest of the buttons (volume, etc.) feel nice and soft, not as hard and clunky as other players. I assume the CD component is good too, but haven't tried it yet.
