LOVE IT! in Exhaust & Emissions

I installed this muffler on my 2010 Hemi Ram. It absolutely gave it that "aggressive" sound I was looking for. I left the factory exhausts and resonators installed and had to make some modifications as this Flowmaster muffler is shorter than the stock muffler on the Rams. At cruising speed there is little difference between a truck cab and a standard muffler. This is because Rams with Hemi have exhaust pipes that come out of the rear bumper and not down the side of the truck under the tail cowl. When driving at low speed on a street with taller buildings on either side, such as a B. in a city center, you may hear your exhaust working and it sounds harsh. So don't worry if you don't hear aggressiveness from the exhaust. Cockpit at cruising speed. it's there and the people in front of the truck can hear it! Don't bother watching YouTube videos before and after installing a performance exhaust. You're not doing it right. Also, some Ram Hemi owners remove the resonators, making the exhaust system even louder. I wouldn't do this as I don't want to bother my neighbors too much and have a comfortable, somewhat quiet ride where I can have a conversation in the cab of my truck and this Flowmaster muffler provides that! Kicking and pushing produces the aggressive, hot-rod sound out of the muffler that you've come to expect. I've already noticed a slight increase in power, as well as an increase in fuel consumption! I'm sure there's torque too, and I'll find out when I tow our camper this summer.
