Great lather, great shave, great price. If you are willing to use a mug and brush this is a great product and very economical. I place the shaving mug in a large bowl and pour boiling water into it. This keeps the contents of the shaving mug hot. I dip a clean brush in very hot water (almost boiling) then in a cup of Williams soap to make a nice hot lather. The hot water in the bowl keeps the mug warm so the foam stays hot for a long time. Alternatively, I can rinse the razor in the sink and then simply dip it in hot water to "warm up”. I love the feeling of a hot razor and find it offers the best shaving experience. I've tried other shaving soaps, some expensive, and couldn't tell a difference. Why spend more? Williams is an excellent soap and value.
