I'm clumsy and I often drop phones, but the only time I've ever broken them was when they were taken out of OtterBox cases for a while. This is by far the thinnest OtterBox case I've had, but I feel like I'm still getting enough protection. The outside of the lid is NOT grippy (it's actually pretty smooth) so I dropped my phone which resulted in some denting and bruising on the lid itself but absolutely no external damage to the phone. Would I buy this exact same thing again? Probably no. I would go for the OtterBox case which offers the best grip. But that doesn't mean it deserves less than 5 stars. It is beautifully preserved and I intend to use it until it is close to destruction.
