This is about PERFECT!

I have ordered and received many different models of this basic type of multi tool. Always looking for the right basic tools, good ergonomics, and ease of use, and a decent pouch/holster thingy. The holster this one comes with is nice, a real genuine SNAP closure. Thank you!Nice stiff sidewalls, a good solid feeling. A divider inside for the bits and the multitool to stay apart and organized. There is only one issue with it.and time will tell if it is or isn't much of a deal, the loop on the back isn't as well made as the rest hopefully it doesn't become an issue. If it does I like the holster well enough to rivet a replacement on.probably leather or kydex. The tool, so it is as the pictures show, and it is sturdy and stout. The knife blade is adequately sharp as is, it locks open and is nicely shaped. How well will it hold an edge I don't know yet but I expect average to below average as it isn't an expensive tool, this really isn't an issue as these are not meant to be used 24/7 they are meant to give you tools when you failed to bring the right tool.well thats my opinion anyway. The pliers, nice smooth, solid, and because the handle is well designed you can really squeeze them without hurting your hand. The scissors.ah one of my favorite tools on a multitool.these initially gave me a bit of trouble. But once I looked at them and fiddled with them a bit they work flawlessly.what was the issue? Well the small spring that opens the scissors was not yet set.so it hit too high on the scissors moving part and sort of locked it. I used a small screwdriver tip to move it down and once I opened and closed the scissors a few times perfect. The scissors are a tad odd in that they are stored in the OPEN position. The flint striker or if you prefer ferocerium stick is easy to access and stays firmly in place, there is a Scratch plate accessible on the side if you don't want to use the knife. It is a well placed and ergonomically designed part as well. The rest of the tools are pretty much same old same old and work well.I look forward to using this and getting to know it better.

Pros
  • Sturdy and an absolute great gift to a handyman!
Cons
  • The hammer function may not be as effective as a traditional hammer for heavy duty tasks
