I was so happy when I received my item after waiting weeks for it to be back in stock and then taking me to the small and remote island, on who i live Unfortunately I've had them for a week and I've already found weevils in my new batch of rice which I didn't have before when I just kept them in the original packaging. The top window does not close completely from the sides, as the fasteners that hold the lid in place are at the top and bottom, the sides are not airtight as advertised on the product. From what I've read in other reviews, quite a few people have had the same experience, so this is pretty much a 'buy at your own risk', I have a smaller container and it seems airtight because it holds all four Sides has clamps. (The cover must be completely removed). Unfortunately, although I have the Prime, but I live so far away, I would have to pay for shipping if I wanted to return it. I don't know what to do with containers that big if I can't store the rice and flour so I bought them, I put a piece of plastic wrap inside, I hope that keeps out bugs.
