Review on 📱 Fluval A3976 LED Controller with WiFi Connectivity by Ashley Rogers

Fluval has to go back to the drawing board here. I've had too many problems connecting to this device and in the middle of the lighting program my light goes out for no apparent reason. I use Fluval Freshwater 2.0 lamps that ignite with this product. It was so buggy I reverted to the electric timer as I can't get the Wi-Fi controller to keep the schedule. I would also like to say that calling this device a "Wi-Fi controller" is wrong. It doesn't actually connect to Wi-Fi. It's almost like a wifi router or hotspot that you have to connect your phone to every time you want to do something with the light. On top of that, you have to be about 10 feet away from the device each time to connect, which doesn't make it very user-friendly. You also can't program your light cycle to run past midnight. You must either turn it off at midnight or turn it on after midnight. There's also no feature to change the light cycle on specific days. It's a flat cycle for the whole week or nothing at all. I feel like I wasted my money buying this product.
