The product does exactly what it says on the tin, allowing two monitors to work over USB using HDMI or DisplayPort cables and has been doing so reliably ever since (used daily over USB C for almost a month). It's a bit pricey, but the reliability is worth it. - The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 stars is that it would have been nice to have a USB port in the gadget as my advanced monitors allow for additional functionality over USB and I didn't need to add an additional hub to the Device. laptop for this purpose.
