Connects two monitors securely via USB

The product does exactly what it says it does, it allows you to use two monitors with HDMI or DisplayPort cables to work over USB and does this is still reliable (used daily for almost a month via the USB-C port). It's a bit pricey, but the reliability is worth it. - The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 stars is that it would have been nice to have a USB port in the gadget as my advanced monitors allow for additional functionality over USB and I didn't need to add an additional hub…

    Best Multi-Screen Device

Bought a couple of dual and triple display hubs and returned everything. In the end I chose Plugable which is still amazingly compatible, easy to install and high quality. Just download the DisplayLink driver and restart your Macbook. No frills to set up, no need for an external power supply. 1 USB-C connects to the Macbook and I have 2 external monitors. I just ordered another triple display plug-in. So I'm ready for 6 monitors!

Parts missing and stopped working after 2 hours

I bought this thinking that investing in a higher quality product would save me from buying those $29 converters every 6 months in the long run. The box came without a USB-C to USB 3.0 converter. After about two hours it stopped working completely. Tried 3 different computers (just in case the problem is the computer), swapped the HDMI cables and nada. Disappointed, I was really looking forward to having up to 4 screens. Luckily, I bought a $29 converter just in case it wasn't compatible to…

Fixes the Apple M1 limitation for external monitors!

Image What a surprise I was when I found out that M1 computers can't support multiple external monitors! At first I thought it was my USB hub, but did a little research and found out it was the laptop itself. I started looking for solutions to this problem and found this product. After watching a few YouTube videos and doing a little more research, I placed an order. As soon as it arrived I plugged it into my hub and connected monitors but only one monitor was active. I remembered that I needed

Works with Macbook Pro 13 inch 2020 Intel

I have 2 external monitors. One is a 4K 32" monitor that I connect via DisplayPort and the other is a 22" 1080p monitor that I connect via HDMI using a VGA converter (connected to the monitor's VGA port). . I'm getting the full 4K resolution on my 32" screen and it seems to be running at 60Hz. It's hard for me to say if it really hits 60Hz, but it certainly seems smooth and flicker-free when I move my mouse or move windows etc. Only use my setup for work, don't have it for gaming used movies…

    missing key ingredients, otherwise useful

This product is an anomaly in today's market because it partially allows the Apple Mac M1 laptop buyer (me) to use two external large screens to the fullest. Resolution with the Mac lid open. For me it's the Dell P2719H (27 inch flat screen, perfect for most business users). But since all modern Macs prefer HDMI (and Apple popularized the format), there's little reason for Mac users to pay for the legacy Displayport 1.4 port format, which works well on older PCs (and isn't compatible with…

    Simple, just what I needed

I thought it would be easy to connect 2 monitors to my docked laptop for work. After looking at descriptions and reviews I found that not every connection allows me to have 2 separate monitors (one monitor to mirror my laptop and one extended monitor). I started thinking that there is no easy way to make this adjustment until I came across this product. I was pretty sure it would work plugged directly into my laptop, but I wasn't sure it would work plugged into the docking station's USB port. I

DO NOT buy if you plan to use more than 2!

This product is terrible. I spent $128 to only be able to use 2 at a time. I could buy that for $40. Not enough space to use all 4 at the same time. Only one can be used on the left HDMI display port, the same goes for the right side. This is false advertising and when I asked for a refund I was told it was not compatible with my device. That is not right. All HDMI and display ports are the same size. This is a manufacturer error due to lack of space. waste of money and time. Now I need to go…
