I go to the Tucson gem and mineral fairs every year. And I don't review my best (or none at all) purchases. Instead, I send the heaviest items home in priority mailboxes and take the good ones with me. But the most durable hand luggage reduces the weight of the contents with a limit of 50# per bag. This year I checked and found that SWA does not take the weight of the trolley into account. I used a strong cardboard box in a gym bag. (Needed a crate so the bag could be attached to the trolley. And yes, it took several tries to get the bag + trolley to acceptable overhead dimensions.) The weight of the suitcase? Maybe 1#. The content is about 48#. PRICELESS! And it was strong and maneuverable enough to lift heavy boxes of books up the stairs with ease!
