Difficult to turn pages

I like how it looks when it's closed. But the pages are poorly designed. It opens when flat in the middle. Difficult to turn the pages as the pages bang to the side. Because of this, you will also lose the edge of the photo or item you put in the case. It's just awkward to read. I got this as a gift for someone but I'm embarrassed to use it now.
