First of all, Wellness is a wonderful dog food brand. So that's what I like about this food 1.) The pieces are very small: great for small older dogs (for reference I have a 12 year old Chihuahua who has less than half his teeth left), especially those who still have teeth Had dental disease or dental procedures. 2.) Compared to what he ate, he liked this a lot more: A lot of foods for the elderly or foods prepared for any actions are based on chicken, but it's turkey and he didn't eat it.
