Review on 🚁 SIMREX X300C Mini Drone: Foldable Quadcopter with Altitude Hold, Headless Mode, 720P FPV Camera, and Easy Remote Control Fly - Ideal for Training (White) by Theresa Roberts

Smooth operation of remote and app controlled vehicles and parts

This little drone is well constructed and all its systems work great. Flies are very responsive and have survived at least 50 falls, some from great heights. Highly recommended for beginners like me. I have seen people in other reviews having uncontrolled flight issues. This was only an issue on my very first flight when I didn't calibrate the compass which is a one button operation. Every time you take out the battery you will need to calibrate the compass when you turn it back on. When I found out about it, all the accidents were on my side because it flew beautifully. There's one more trick if he really wants to fly in a certain direction without taking your fingers off the controls: there are arrows you have to press to negate it. I don't know how he keeps the height, but he's also very good at that. Since he doesn't have sensors on his stomach, it must be a barometer, but damn it. It is very good. You need to buy two batteries when you get this item because the flight time is only about 8 minutes. If you only have one battery, this will be a major disadvantage. For $16, you get two batteries and another charger, so you can charge two batteries at the same time. You really need two batteries. With three batteries I can "play" for half an hour, including emergency search. The camera takes good pictures, but of course the video stream is very weak. it's not stabilized in any way, so it's not your choice for high-quality videos. This is a fantastic drone for flight training. Finally, two comments. An app called "Simrex FPV" is currently not available in the Apple App Store. boo. You don't need an app to fly with the remote control. However, you need a photo and video app. The Google Play Store has an app, so I use my wife's outdated Android phone for this feature. And like I said, the pics are ok, but the videos aren't worth it anyway. The second criticism is the customer service. It's just an email address lol. And I emailed them about the iPhone app a few days ago and got no response. I think we're on our own. It actually has a nice guide that is easy to read and understand. So 4 stars instead of 5 for the missing iPhone app and no response from customer support. But the drone itself is a well designed little gem and I'm having a lot of fun learning to fly it.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
