I've had it a little over 30 days (about 40 days ago) and had an issue where one of the sections wasn't being read. I used crystaldiskinfo information from the disk test software and this new disk is already reporting current pending sector count errors. I used WD Lifeguard for about 36 hours and it reported unrecoverable bad sectors. I just received an RMA and found that WD has a lousy warranty, at least in my opinion. I have to pay return shipping to WD, wait for them to receive the drive and then they send a replacement. I just checked a couple of other WD drives that are 1-3 years old and they are giving error messages as well. I've learned to check my SMART data more often and will now avoid WD due to quality concerns.
