Too much going on with this thing

I really want to love this. It’s cute, durable, a great size and I love the hook that can be used as a stand. It comes with three white noise sounds and then there are more you can get for free on the app. I kind of thought that you could somehow download the extra sounds onto the sound bub, but you can’t. The three it comes with are not relaxing to me. They are too loud in my opinion and they kind of stress me out haha. Then again I’ve been very sensitive to noises since "the incident.” I like a very gentle rain sound or like a fan sound to help me sleep. Even though I bought this for my baby and not myself, we sleep in the same room so I do care, and I pick what sounds appeal to me anyway because that’s just how it goes. So if I don’t like the sounds I’m not going to play them for her! The fan noise on the app is pleasant to me, so I connected Bluetooth and played it for her nap. I started scrolling on Instagram on my phone as I often do and BAM! I got to a video and it started blasting through the speaker right in her ear and woke her up. So basically I can only play white noise from the app if I don’t plan on doing anything on my phone. Also the speaker on my iPhone is better quality than the sound bub speaker. The rain sound coming from my phone sounds much more clear than when played through the sound bub. So now what I do is play the sounds from the app just on my phone through the night because it sounds better. In conclusion I don’t understand why there is an app and a physical speaker. I don’t want to use my phone for white noise! That’s why I bought a white noise machine! I’m going to keep it because I got it on sale and It is a convenient portable speaker. But as for white noise there is too much going on. I’m and going to buy a different white noise machine for my baby and possibly for myself as well.Oh and the fuzzy part collects fuzzballs!

Pros

Cons
  • The bunny design may not be gender-neutral
