I used this on my level 4 brown hair (which also has lighter highlights) and I didn't expect it to be very noticeable on my dark brown hair. , but it is so! It gave my brown hair a really gorgeous red-pink like cherry peel and my highlights are lighter. I'm so in love with this. It also lasts a lot longer than a normal manic panic.
