Great jacket, my son loves it. The outer material is very durable, like a nylon bag or backpack. Although the coat is heavy, it is not bulky so my son has no problem moving around in it. It freezes easily, so its weight was perfect for the windy 35-40 Fahrenheit evenings we experienced. The fit is true to size; My 9 year old son usually wears US boys 10-12 (or medium) in Old Navy and H&M colors and the medium size of this coat fits him perfectly with enough room for layering. He loves the pockets and I love the adjustable cuffs and extended length that covers his hem (there are snaps at the back for ease of movement). Overall, this is a comfortable, warm coat with lots of thoughtful details that should definitely last until my son outgrows him. I would order this coat again without hesitation.
